Gastroenterology

Gastroenterologists perform gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy, both diagnostic and therapeutic, including stent insertion and polypectomy. You can find our Inflammatory Bowel Disease pages here.

The Trust has partnered with DrDoctor to introduce a new digital system designed to make it easier for you to manage your outpatient appointment with the Gastroenterology Team.

You will now be able to manage your appointments via an online patient portal, where you can view and download your appointment letters and request to change or cancel your appointment.

You can also receive appointment reminders via text message. Please ensure we have your correct mobile number, full name, date of birth and postcode.

Please click here to find out how to access your patient portal.
