Our IBD Patient Panel members

Our IBD Patient Panel is led by, and made up of, our gastroenterology service users and supported by clinicians, including consultants,  IBD Specialist Nurses and dieticians.

The panel was formed at Peterborough City Hospital in April 2012 and is in place to help clinicians shape the service and make improvements based on patient feedback.

Since its formation, the panel has staged four successful awareness events for patients to find out more about managing their symptoms of diseases such as Crohn's and Colitis.

The most recent event, called 'You, Me and IBD', was staged on Saturday 6 October 2018. This was attended by 80 patients and their relatives. The topics for discussion were chosen from the feedback by patients who attended a previous event.

The presentation from 'You, Me and IBD' can be accessed here.

If you have an Inflammatory Bowel Disease and would like to become a member of the patient panel, please complete the expression of interest form and email the panel Chairman John Humphries onpch.ibd.patientpanel@gmail.com
