Online Patient Portal

To help you manage your outpatient appointments with the Gastroenterology Team, we have introduced a brand new patient portal and a text message reminder service.  

Login to your patient portal to view information about your appointment and request to change or cancel your appointment. Just follow the link in your text messages.

Once online you can:  

  • Request to change or cancel your appointment

  • View and download your appointment letters 

  • View location information, including google maps and floor plans 

  • View important clinic information, this may include leaflets and videos 

  • Add your appointment to your personal calendar 

You can access the portal on your smartphone, tablet or desktop PC.  

As part of this new digital management system, you can also opt to go paperless by accessing your outpatient appointment letter on the portal. We will send you a text message notifying you that you have a new letter to view – simply click on to link and login to view and download your letter instantly.  

Please ensure we have your correct mobile number, full name, date of birth and postcode.  

If you do not have access to a smart device or do not want to use the online portal, we will continue to contact you by letter.

Please note that this is currently only being trialled in Gastroenterology with the view to being rolled out to other specialities in the coming months. 

You can now change and cancel your appointment through our online portal.

  1. Follow the link in your text message or visit: nhs.my/nwangliaft   to our online portal
  2. To log in, fill in your name, date of birth and postcode. We may send you a onetime code to check it is really you. Enter this into the webpage
  3. Once online you can request to change or cancel your appointment
  4. We’ll review this request and you’ll receive a text message confirming if we could make this change or not.

If this is too close to your appointment, or you need to transport or a translator you will need to contact the booking team to change your appointment.

We will send you a text message notifying you that you have a new letter to view. Simply click on the link provided and log in to our secure patient portal to view and download your letter. 

  • Please ensure we have your correct mobile number, full name, date of birth and postcode.  
  • You will receive a text message notifying you that you have a new appointment letter to view online. Simply click the link in the text message to our secure patient portal and log in with your name, date of birth and postcode. 
  • We will then send a one-time code to your mobile phone to verify your identity and you will be prompted to enter this into the webpage.  
  • Once you are logged in, you will be able to view and download your new appointment letter. These letters will be stored here for future reference.  
  • You will continue to receive printed appointment letters as well, unless you choose to go paperless.
