Members of the public are invited to attend the next virtual board meeting for the Trust that runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals on Tuesday 12 April 2022.

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust has been running meetings online, via MS Teams, since the pandemic begun, in an effort to continue to involve members of the public in the way their local hospitals are run.

The meeting will be held from 2pm to 5pm on 12 April and will be chaired for the first time by Professor Steve Barnett, who took up the role of Trust Chair on 1 April 2022.

The meeting will start with an update from the Trust’s Patient Experience Team on the way they use digital communications tools to help keep patients connected with their loved ones while visiting restrictions are in place in our hospitals.

Other items on the agenda include a report on improvements with maternity services, and the actions to be taken to respond to a recent Care Quality Commission inspection of Urgent and Emergency Care services within the local health system.

Members of the public who would like to attend the virtual event are invited to submit any questions they have in one of two ways: They can either email their queries to the Trust’s dedicated board meeting email address: nwangliaft.trustboard@nhs.net by midnight on Sunday 10 April, or use the live chat facility in the meeting on the day.

The papers for the meeting are now live on our Trust website and can be found here.
