"I started in the NHS as a receptionist at my local minor injuries unit and gained experience in different roles along the way before moving to North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust as an Information Analyst in the Patient Safety Team.

"Following this I wanted to develop my skills further and then the pandemic began. The EPRR team needed help with projects due to the ever increasing workload as a result of the pandemic and I joined the team as the Covid Project Manager. Whilst in this role I was lucky to have the opportunity to plan, implement and operationally manage the Trusts Covid vaccination Hospital Hubs. This was the most rewarding, fast paced programme I have been involved with, working together with our amazing clinical and administrative colleagues was such a fantastic experience.

"I feel honoured to be able to support my colleagues. The last couple of years has been so challenging for our staff who do their very best to provide the best quality of care for our patients. I love being part of the NHS family and making a difference.

"My ethos is that we are all cogs in a machine and if one cog didn’t exist the machine would not work. Administration staff are the backbone of our organisation and the wider NHS giving our clinical colleagues the support they need to care for our patients."
