The Council of Governors at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust will meet in public later this month – for the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic began in 2020.
The Trust, which runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals, will host its Governor meeting at 10am on Thursday 18 August 2022 in the board room at Peterborough City Hospital.
Members of the public are invited to join the meeting to see how the Governors are involved in the running of their local hospitals. Attendees can join the meeting in person, or online via an MS Teams link.
Steve Barnett, Chair of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We’re really pleased to be able to bring back our face-to-face meetings. It will be fantastic to see our Governors in person to discuss the latest activity taking place in our hospitals and how we are managing our emergence from the pandemic.
“I appreciate that not all people wanting to attend the meeting will be able to come to Peterborough City Hospital and so I am pleased that we can offer them a chance to see it on screen. There will be an opportunity for members of the public to ask questions at the end of the meeting, and they can do this whether they attend in person or online.”
