The Trust that runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals is looking for new public governors to join its Council of Governors to represent patients’ and the public’s views on how hospital services are managed and delivered.
North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust will open nominations for prospective governors to come forward from Wednesday 5 February 2020 to Thursday 20 February 2020.
The Trust has eight public governor posts available: three representing Stamford/South Lincolnshire residents, three representing Greater Peterborough residents and two representing Huntingdonshire residents.
The successful candidates will be decided in an election among North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust members to be held from 10 to 31 March 2020.
Individuals who are keen to play an important part in how their local hospitals are run are being asked to put themselves forward for election. They are able to find out more about the role of a governor at a series of information sessions being held across our hospitals in February.
