Get involved with our Quality Assurance Committee

Do you feel you could represent the views of service users and/or patient groups in the region of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust?  If so, then we are looking for you. 

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit new members of the public, minority, ethnic and volunteer groups onto our Quality Assurance Committee. As a core member of this group, you will be able to contribute in the delivery of Quality Assurance framework for the Trust.

We are committed to involving patients to help to shape service improvements and as a member of this group, you will be helping to make sure that this happens  by contributing to the development of services that are high quality, safe and meet the needs of the local population.

The aim of the group is to have patient, carer and public input into our work programmes including working with action plans and engaging with our local population, alongside sharing views and comments on the Trust’s plans and future service changes or improvements.

The group will meet every month and appointed members will be need to commit to a minimum of 9 meetings a year. Meetings last approximately 2.5 hours but will require up to 2 hours’ preparation reading papers and reviewing materials.  The Trust has appointed a Non-Executive Directors as Chair and Vice Chair and the committee reports to the board. .
