North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is asking former and current patients to nominate their ‘Health Hero’ staff member for a special award, to be presented at the Trust’s Outstanding Achievement Awards later this year.
The Health Hero category recognises individuals who have made a real difference to the lives of patients and who represent the Trust’s Values in being caring and compassionate whilst delivering outstanding healthcare.
“This is one of my favourite award categories,” says Caroline Walker, Chief Executive. “I think it’s because it’s coming from the hearts of patients and visitors who have used our services. I know first-hand, the hard work and commitment our staff show to being that listening ear or shoulder to cry on in tough times. I also know the lengths they have been to in the last couple of years when they have gone above and beyond to care for our patients, even when it’s been in the most challenging situations.”
The deadline to nominate a Health Hero is Friday 2 September 2022. Please complete the online form and include as much detail as possible in your submission.
The Trust’s Outstanding Achievement Awards ceremony will take place in October and is kindly sponsored by Progress Health, Mitie and Medirest.
