Staff at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust celebrated their achievements after completing Care Certificates and various apprenticeship qualifications while carrying out their day to day job.
The graduation ceremony took place on December 4 at Peterborough City Hospital and was the last one for 2019.
In total 18 new Health Care Assistants were presented with their Care Certificate awards which they had achieved within the first fifteen weeks of employment in the Trust. Another 18 existing members of staff across Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford hospitals were presented with certificates for apprenticeship qualifications including Healthcare Support Worker, Business Administration and Clinical Healthcare.
Jo Bennis, Chief Nurse, said: “It is always a pleasure to be able to present staff who have undertaken additional qualifications alongside their job with their certificates and has been a joy to celebrate everyone’s success. In addition to our normal awards I also had the opportunity to hand out five extra awards, which were given to those learners who go above and beyond living our values.”
Five brand new awards were given on the evening, Outstanding Learner Awards, to reflect our Trust values which are; Putting Patients First, Actively Respectful, Seeking to Improve and Develop, Caring and Compassionate and Working Positively Together.
