Our hospitals are open as usual during the planned strike action

We have been advised that The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) are taking industrial action on Thursday 15 and Tuesday 20 December.

Strike action will not take place at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust.  This means appointments at Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford & Rutland Hospitals will go ahead as normal, and patients should continue to attend our hospitals as planned, unless they are notified otherwise.

It is really important that anyone who needs care continues to come forward as normal, especially in emergency and life-saving cases.  Our hospitals are busy at the moment so if you think you need to attend hospital we’d ask that you call NHS 111 or visit 111 Online in the first instance. Trained staff will assess your symptoms and direct you to the right place for you.
