Seven public governor posts are being recruited to at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford and Rutland Hospital.
Local people who want to play a part in the way their hospital is run are asked to put themselves forward for election to one of the seven positions open on the Trust’s Council of Governors. The breakdown of available governor posts is:
- 4 public governor vacancies for Stamford and South Lincs constituency
- 2 public governor vacancies for Huntingdonshire constituency
- 1 public governor vacancy for Greater Peterborough constituency
Prospective Governors must be members of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust and live in the constituency area they want to represent.
In its search for public governors, the Trust is keen to find individuals to represent the diverse patient groups in the communities it serves. The elections will run from Thursday 20 April 2023 to Monday 15 May 2023, with results being declared on Tuesday 16 May 2023.
