North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust has been named as one of the 32 NHS organisations set to benefit from the second wave of the Digital Aspirant programme funding.
The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, announced the second wave of the programme on 18March and highlighted that the Trust, which runs Peterborough City, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals will receive £250,000 of the funding to develop a digital strategy and business case.
The Digital Aspirant programme helps NHS trusts raise their digital maturity by supporting organisations to deliver a set of core capabilities, reducing the gap between the levels of digitisation across the NHS. So far 59 NHS Trusts have been included in the programmes plans.
