Update on visiting at the Trust

In order to protect our staff, patients and visitors from Coronavirus it is essential that we all continue to do to do whatever we can to reduce the risk of transmission as much as possible.

The Trust will be keeping visiting restrictions in place with the exception of:

• End of life patients

• Delivery Suite - 1 birthing partner

• Paediatrics - 1 parent/carer only

• If you are a carer or supporting someone with additional needs such as Dementia, a learning disability or autism, where not being present would cause the patient to be distressed.

This applies to all of our hospitals - Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and Stamford & Rutland Hospital. We are looking at how we can relax some of these restrictions, however it will not be an immediate change and will take time and careful planning in order to ensure staff, visitor and patient safety. This may be introduced in waves and we are constantly engaging with staff and patient representatives.

Thank you for your compliance and understanding.
