The services we provide from our hospital sites across the area are underpinned by a series of strategies that have been developed since the formation of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in April 2017.
Our strategies are informed by the health needs of the local population, as defined in the System Transformation Plans for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, plus South Lincolnshire. They also take into account national policies and priorities, the requirements of cross-boundary service provision and the provision of specialist services.
Our Clinical Service Strategy was published in May 2018 and outlines the vision for the way acute care services will run for the next five years. The strategy was developed with input from Trust clinicians. Read the Clinical Service Strategy here.
Our Estates Strategy was published in November 2018 and aims to ensure our Trust estate is maintained and developed to offer the necessary levels of safe and appropriate amenities, services and accommodation for patients, visitors and staff. Read the Estates Strategy here.
Our Information Management and Technology Strategy was published in February 2019. It aims to ensure that the planning and implementation of suitable information systems, services and infrastructure will support the Clinical Service Strategy. Read the Information and Technology Strategy here.
Our Green Travel Plan (draft) was presented to our Board of Directors in January 2020. This plan is still in development. It was paused during the Covid-19 pandemic. To read the plan click here. This will be updated in 2021.
