Charity Vision

‘Over and Above’ - To enhance the outstanding care provided by North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to our local population.

Charity’s Mission Statement

‘We aim to support the work of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust to ensure we are providing outstanding care to our local population. Providing the ‘added extras’, including facilities and equipment, to enhance the patient experience, support research programmes and the development of services and education.’

The Charity provides support to the Trust by the following means:

Our patients, their family and carers are at the heart of all we do at the Trust. We provide the extras to ensure every patient experiences the best possible outcome and the highest quality of care in pleasant and comfortable surroundings.

We support staff with additional training, which  allows staff to keep up with new processes and innovations from the wider health service.

Your support help us to provide additional equipment to enhance patient care and provide the best possible treatment.

Your support  helps us support medical research and development within the Trust.

We help to improve the environment and patient comforts, creating an ambient atmosphere making our spaces more welcoming and comfortable for everyone.

Supporting our hospitals during the Coronavirus pandemic

Our staff are extremely grateful for all the supportive messages received from our communities during these challenging times; it really does mean a lot.

Some members of the public and local businesses have been asking how they can offer their support, while observing the requests to stay away from the hospital to minimise the risk of spreading Coronavirus. One way to help us give something back to those staff is by supporting our charitable fund.

‘Over and Above – Our Trust Charity’ aims to support the work of our staff to ensure we are providing outstanding care to our local population. Our staff are working tirelessly to care for our communities and ‘Over and Above’ aims to show them how much they mean to the hospital, just a little thank you, supporting them with additional training opportunities, health and wellbeing support as well as a little treat from time to time.

You can make a donation that will give our staff a boost, support patient care or make our spaces more welcoming and comfortable for everyone – the choice is entirely up to you.
