Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, all antenatal classes, including the feeding and homebirth workshops, are cancelled until further notice.
The new Birth and Newborn information classes are run by the Peterborough and Stamford community midwifery service.
Come and join us for an informative, friendly and welcoming chat. Meet other parents to be and have an opportunity to meet our community midwives and maternity support services.
The classes will be split into two, two-hour sessions - Preparation for Birth Class (Session 1) and Care of the Newborn and New Parents Class (Session 2). You don't have to attend them in order or you can just come to one if you feel that's appropriate.
You are welcome to bring your partner, birthing partner, friend or relative along with you and there will be a maximum of 12 bookings per class.

Women who are considering a homebirth have the opportunity to meet and speak with a team of midwives, who can help and guide them on the options that are available to them.
The ‘Homebirth Workshops’ are an informal way of exploring the homebirth choice with a community midwife to ensure that all women are aware of the support provided.
These workshops will be based in the antenatal clinics at Peterborough City Hospital from 10am to 12 noon on:
- Saturday 23 February
- Saturday 27 April
- Saturday 29 June
- Saturday 31 August
