Stamford leads the way to help raise Hospitals’ Charity profile

Stamford Charity Hub
A dedicated hub to raise the profile and work of North West Anglia Hospitals’ Charity, and provide a focal point for sharing fundraising ideas, has been unveiled.
The previously unused room in the main entrance of Stamford & Rutland Hospital has been given a makeover, to transform it into a visual and functional resource for use by the Hospitals’ Charity – giving staff, patients and visitors the opportunity to find out more about its work.
Charity project manager Philip Fearn said: “The new Charity Hub is now fully operational in the main entrance of the hospital, and as well as its eye-catching branding – featuring our Hospitals’ Charity patron, Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood – it has a very functional purpose.
“Visitors and staff can call into find out about how the charity works, the many projects it delivers to enhance staff, patient and visitor experience, as well as discovering ways in which to support it.”

Our hospital at Stamford has been chosen as the location to launch what is hoped to be the first of three Charity Hubs, with others currently being planned for Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.
These will also incorporate the patient experience and volunteer recruitment teams
