Craig Revel Horwod - Charity Patron
We are absolutely delighted to have the support of Craig Revel Horwood as our Charity Patron. Craig wanted to support his local NHS Hospital Trust and we couldn't wait to get him on board.
We are sure most of you will know Craig as a FAB-U-LOUS judge on the BBC's, Strictly Come Dancing. But his journey through stage and screen started in his hometown of Ballarat, Australia. Since first appearing on a number of productions in Australia, Craig has moved across to Europe and gone on to appear in hit shows on stage such as Cats and Miss Saigon.
As well as his appearances on stage and screen, Craig has built a fantastic reputation for his directorial and choreographic talents. A reputation which has helped him to become a hugely respected figure in the world of showbiz.
Philip Fearn - Charity Projects Manager
Philip has worked with charities for most of his career in corporate fundraising, events and communications, for charities such as Deafblind UK in Peterborough and The Royal British Legion, SSAFA and Teach First in London. He went on to run his own events and communications consultancy, planning royal visits, large gala dinners, conferences and exhibitions. Six years ago he took a career break and joined East Midlands Ambulance Service and worked as an Emergency Medical Technician around Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. He now lives near Oakham, Rutland and is owned by four miniature schnauzers – Chester, Tilly, Berkeley and Mabel!
Sue Jones - Charitable Fund Administrator
Sue‘s early career was in banking, before taking time out to bring up her two sons. She joined the Financial Services Team at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust in 2004 and stepped into her role within the charity 10 years ago. Sue not only handles the accounting side of the Charity but also enjoys the fun side of being involved with our fundraisers and donors and has built good relationships with our staff who manage their local funds. Outside of work Sue has recently become a grandmother and delights in spending as much time as possible with her grandson.
