Anyone waiting for an operation or procedure at one of our hospitals, can now access the NHS My Planned Care Patient Digital Platform which gives you direct access to the latest average wait time information for our trust, as well as helpful advice and support whilst you wait.

Updated weekly, the site is easy-to-use and is ‘open-access’ so your carer, friends, and relatives can also access this information.

Listed on the site are the 'average' waiting times, which are the mean of all patients waiting within the specialty at this hospital. Some patients will wait less time than the average and some patients will wait longer than the average waiting time. Patients are being managed in clinical priority and therefore waiting times can vary depending on clinical urgency.

We encourage you to look at this site to find the information you need before contacting the Trust for an update about any elective procedures you are waiting for.
