Megan | World Admin day 24 - Meet the admin team

Working for the NHS allows me to work with and help the local community. As one of the largest employers in the area it means that I work in a team of skilled, devoted and passionate people. Also, the majority of the women in my family have worked for NHS so it felt like a right of passage! 

My role involves a variety of workstreams which I work closely with Paul Denton, Associate Director of Governance and Risk. The workstreams include:
- Risk management, which includes supporting divisions, running reports for various board committees and training. 
- Supporting the Council of Governors.
- Helping with Audits
- Supporting with the Annual Report and Accounts
- Developing and managing the trust publication scheme 

I am also a freedom to speak up champion and recently achieved my Advanced Certificate in Health Service Governance alongside my responsibilities. 

The really enjoy supporting a variety of different workstreams. It means that no two days are ever the same!
