World Administration and Clerical Professionals Day 2024
Wednesday 24 April is World Admistration and Clerical Professionals Day a chance to celebrate all our brilliant administrative and clerical staff across the Trust for all of the support and work they do!
Our administrative and clerical staff work in an array of roles, supporting clinical, and non-clinical staff as well as patients across the Trust.
Roles our staff undertake include:
- Reception
- Ward Clerks
- Telephonists, booking and rearranging outpatient appointments
- Switchboard
- Medical secretaries, Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants
- Any many, many more!

Today is World Administrative Professionals Day and I can’t let the day go without adding my profound thanks to all our incredible admin staff, who make up one fifth of our workforce.
Your tireless efforts, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment are the backbone of our organisation. Your administrative expertise is essential to helping things run smoothly. From supporting patients and managing meetings to coordinating schedules and booking appointments, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our healthcare services reach those that need it.
