Ambulatory Care Unit
Some patients don’t need to be admitted to receive the treatment they need. You may have been referred to our Ambulatory Care Unit by your GP, transferred from our Emergency Department, or receiving continuing treatment after being discharged from hospital. Our staff provide patients with the medical treatment they would expect to receive on a ward.
Our unit offers a high standard of multi-disciplinary care and we aim to provide a seamless service from admission through to discharge.

Angiography Suite
The Angiography Department undertakes services including diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, insertion of permanent pacemakers, implantable loop recorders and cardioversion.

Anticoagulation
We provide a monitoring service for approximately 3,000 patients on Anticoagulation therapy throughout Cambridgeshire.

Audiology
We carry out a number of tests to enable us to determine the nature and extent of a hearing loss or balance disorder, helping us to identify any conditions that are related to the ear. We also offer a hearing aid service.

Losing someone you care about is always difficult. We offer a short-term bereavement service to support the relatives of people who have died at one of our hospitals.
