National Surveys

All NHS organisations take part in the NHS Patient Survey Programme, which is delivered by the CQC (Care Quality Commission) on behalf of NHS England and the Department of Health and Social Care.

The surveys are designed to collect feedback on the experiences of people using a range of NHS healthcare services with findings from surveys used to help set priorities for delivering a better service for patients.

National Adult Inpatient Survey 2025

We are participating in the 2025 national inpatient survey which is used to help improve patient's experience. Results are published every year with findings helping us understand what is good about patient care and where improvements are needed.
If you are selected to take part, it is your choice whether to take part in the survey. Your answers will be kept confidential and if you are selected to take part in the survey covering the sampling month, the hospital will send your contact details to Picker, the CQC approved organisation which manages the survey.
