Respiratory Ward B12 at Peterborough City Hospital

About our ward

We are an adult medical ward caring for patients with respiratory problems. We have additional training to support patients with specialist respiratory needs, including; non-invasive ventilation, tracheostomy and laryngectomy care, acute asthma and COPD. In addition we have access to physiotherapists, occupational therapists and the Acute Respiratory Access Service (ARAS nurse).

We recommend that each patient has a nominated family member or friend who can act as the main point of contact for our nursing staff. Please let us have the relevant phone number and ensure the device is set up to receive phone calls from the Trust. If your phone blocks numbers from an unknown source, it may delay emergency/urgent communications getting through.
