Cancer Patient Partnership Group

Cancer Patient Partnership Group

Our Cancer Patient Partnership Group (CPPG) is a team of patients, carers and hospital staff who aim to improve cancer services by sharing patients’ views, identify things that are working well and things that could be improved and raising their concerns.

Who are we?

All of our member have direct experience of using the Cancer Services at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, as either patients or carers. As well as those who have experience of the Trust's services, the group also includes Matron, the Lead Cancer Nurse and the Cancer Wellbeing Manager.

What do we do?

As a group we aim to:

  • represent the patient view
  • influence the future of the Trust's cancer services
  • work with clinical staff to improve the way things are done and communicated

When do we meet?

The group meets approximately five times a year, rotating their meetings between Peterborough City and Hinchingbrooke Hospitals.
