The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is designed to be a real time patient satisfaction monitoring system that is mandated by NHS England. The Test is centred around “Thinking about your recent visit, overall, how was the experience of our service?” with response options ranging from very good-very poor. It is designed to help identify what is working well in departments and what may need improvement. The Trust currently uses Healthcare Communications to collate the data and comments for each ward and department across all our hospitals. Each ward has been provided a white ballot box for responses which are collected on a weekly basis.
