How to gain access to e-books and audiobooks

Looking for some entertainment when you're in hospital? Download eBooks, eAudio, eMagazines and eNewpapers FREE from Lincolnshire Libraries. This is available to all patients and visitors to the hospital. You do not need to be a Lincolnshire resident.

If you are already a Lincolnshire Libraries member, use your library card and PIN to login, if not you can join online and gain instant access to thousands of titles covering all genres and for all ages.

Just follow these simple instructions.

  • Sign up here
  • Select Lincolnshire in the Your Area drop down menu. Please note; you do not need to live in Lincolnshire to become a Lincolnshire Libraries' member
  • Add details                                   
  • Add your address and email (phone no. is optional)
  • You can skip equal opportunities (click skip not next)
  • Chose Stamford Library as your home library
  • Check details and agree to the privacy policy
  • Click Create Account
  • Make a note of the barcode and PIN and click FINISH

You are now registered.

  • Download Libby, the library app from App store
  • Select - Yes, I have a library card
  • Search for Stamford Library.
  • Chose - Sign in with my card
  • Enter barcode number followed by PIN

All done!
