Christmas has arrived in miniature at Peterborough City Hospital – with the latest intricate post box topper bringing festive cheer to patients, visitors and staff.
The incredible colourful, seasonal creation is the latest offering from the talented Knit and Natter Group, made up of volunteers and staff members from Peterborough City Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon.
Each of the 12 members of the group have played an important role in the design and delivery of the post box topper which is located in the main Atrium of the hospital.
The latest post box topper replaces the one to mark last month’s Remembrance Day. An appreciation of the topper and the sale of knitted poppies helped to raise over £500 cash donations for the Royal British Legion.
