Coveted hospital awards recognise outstanding local healthcare achievements

Cloisters

Staff and volunteers from Peterborough, Hinchingbrooke and Stamford & Rutland and hospitals have been honoured for their dedication and going the extra mile for patients, their families and fellow colleagues.

Peterborough Cathedral was the stunning backdrop for the coveted annual Outstanding Achievement Awards evening.

Winners from across North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust were celebrated at the ceremony, where colleagues heard inspiring and emotive stories of incredible patient care and going over and above the call of duty.

Gongs were presented to individuals and teams who have developed and delivered service improvements across the Trust. Others have been honoured for their care and compassion or recognised for their lifetime contribution to healthcare.

More than 300 members of staff, volunteers, local dignitaries and specials guests were invited to the awards ceremony, hosted by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire presenter Chris Mann.
