Students enjoy Healthcare how-to at Hinchingbrooke Insight Day

Our teams were thrilled to be joined this week by students from St Peters School, Huntingdon along with Sixth Form students from Hinchingbrooke School and Health and Social care students from Cambridge Regional College for a Career Insight Day recently at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Nearly 40 students attended the morning, gaining a glimpse into nursing and midwifery professions!

Students who were split into groups took part in midwifery duties using practice dummies, tested their hand cleanliness with a UV light, and took part in loads of fun, Paediatric and Midwife service-related activities! The day was enjoyed by students and staff alike — with both enjoying the learning and sharing experience!

Thank you to the staff who helped provide an insight into their professions, and for all of the people involved in making it a successful event — this insight day proved to be our biggest and best one to date!

The event has inspired further insight initiatives which we all look forward to.
