Meet our Executive Directors

Dr Emilia Wawrzkowicz has been working in Peterborough as a Consultant Paediatrician since 2006. As well as being a General Paediatrician, her field of expertise is paediatric allergy and children's safeguarding.

She has developed a large Paediatric Allergy Service in the Trust and has worked as the Designated Doctor for Safeguarding Children and Child Death Review. She has held multiple strategic regional and national roles and was the Assistant Officer at the RCPCH. 

Within the Trust she has been an active member of the LNC and took on the mantel of MSC chair in 2019.  Since August 2024 she has been supporting the CMO team as the Deputy Medical Director.

While taking on this new responsibility she will continue to have a clinical footprint by continuing her allergy work and child death review work for the ICB.
