Members of the public are invited to attend the Annual Public Meeting of the Trust that runs the hospitals in Peterborough, Stamford and Huntingdon.
They can find out more about how staff are working hard to reduce waiting times across a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
The meeting is being held in the Lecture Theatre at Peterborough City Hospital on Tuesday 24 September from 6pm and will be hosted by the Trust Chair, Professor Steve Barnett and Chief Executive Officer Hannah Coffey.
They will present the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts for 2023-24, which features a look back over the successes and challenges of the last financial year. They will also outline the Trust’s innovative plans for improving patient services and care in 2024-25.
The meeting will hear from clinical staff who will present case studies of the initiatives they have delivered to speed up patient care and treatment.
Professor Steve Barnett, Trust Chair, said: “Our Annual Public Meeting is a great opportunity for members of the public and patients to hear about how we are working to provide improved care and services. We will be inviting attendees to ask any questions they have at the end of the presentation. Those who cannot attend are able to submit their questions via email instead. I am looking forward to welcoming lots of people from the communities we serve across our hospitals.”
The meeting is expected to finish no later than 7.30pm and refreshments will be provided.
Anyone wishing to submit a question in advance is asked to send it via email to: nwangliaft.trustboard@nhs.net by 9am on Monday 23 September 2024.
