Huge congratulations to Edward Lee, for winning of the Individual category of our monthly Star Awards!

Throughout the month 75 individuals were nominated for the Individual of the Month Star category, but the winner, as judged by the Trust’s executive team, is Mortuary and Bereavement Manager, Edward!  

The whole Mortuary and Bereavement department came together to nominate their manager, Edward Lee, citing his outstanding leadership as the main reason why he deserves recognition as a star!

The team are extremely grateful for Ed, highlighting his approachability, proactivity and tireless work to not only improve the level of service they provide, but to support the entire team, across both our Peterborough and Hinchingbrooke hospitals.

Despite the bereavement centre undergoing significant construction disturbances, Ed has been in early, stayed late and moved a million items back and forth, to make it all a little less stressful for the team. Ed has supported the team through some recent difficulties, whilst balancing his own heavy workload. Ed has improved many aspects of the department, he takes pride in providing the best service and has built a great team atmosphere where everyone strives to do the best by patients and their families.
