The public are invited to join a series of engagement events to hear more about the plans for the new Hinchingbrooke Hospital and to share their feedback and raise any concerns they may have about the proposals.
The Pre-Planning Application engagement events will be held throughout November and will give members of the public the opportunity to view the progress made, the plans and next steps in the process to build the future hospital. The Project Team will also be on hand to answer questions on the different elements of the process.
Hinchingbrooke was added to the Government’s New Hospital Programme back in May 2023 and it was confirmed this year that the plans will continue to press ahead with the new Government, following the discovery of Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) in 2019.
Deborah Lee, Senior Responsible Officer for the Hinchingbrooke redevelopment, said: “This is an exciting first step for us in our planning process and we are very keen to share our plans with the public, so they can join us on our journey to build a new Hinchingbrooke. We have organised a series of engagement events, some face-to-face and some online at varying times of the day to ensure that as many people as possible can join us.”
