Hospitals Trust Governors to meet in public

Members of the public are invited to join a meeting of the Council of Governors at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, which takes place at Hinchingbrooke Hospital at the end of the month.

The Trust, which runs Hinchingbrooke Hospital as well as Peterborough City and Stamford and Rutland Hospitals, will host its Governor meeting on Thursday 31 October at 10am in the Partnership Suite at the hospital.

As part of the meeting agenda, the meeting will see the official welcome of three new public governors and three new staff governors who were elected to their roles in the summer.  They are:

  •          Amanda Buckenham, Public Governor, Huntingdon constituency
  •          Nick Sandford, Public Governor, Greater Peterborough constituency
  •          Sheila Edwards, Public Governor, Greater Peterborough constituency
  •          Lucy Warner, Staff Governor, Hinchingbrooke Hospital
  •          Nasreen Mahmood, Staff Governor, Hinchingbrooke Hospital
  •          Simao Vieira, Staff Governor, Peterborough City Hospital

Chair of North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust, Professor Steve Barnett, said:

“We are looking forward to working with our newly-appointed governors as we continue to ensure the views of our patients, staff and members of the communities we serve are represented in the way we run our hospitals.”
