We have been celebrating our Stars this week, and today the fantastic team at John Van Geest were presented with February’s Team of the Month award!

The team on John Van Geest were nominated by Emma Goodson, who joined the team for five weeks as a student from Anglia Ruskin University. In these five weeks, Emma was able to fully experience how a busy Medicine for the Elderly Ward operates, citing in her nomination how grateful she was for the support she received from all members of staff on the Ward.

Emma said, “I have spent 5 weeks working alongside this wonderful team. The staff have taught me so much and have been so supportive in my learning. The staff on this ward are like a work family who genuinely care for each and every one of their patients. They give excellent care which is shown by the high compliments from the friends and family feedback forms. The staff deserve the acknowledgment of how fantastic their team really is.”

It is amazing to see every member of staff supporting the next generation of staff coming into our hospitals. We want to say a huge thank you to every member of the team for demonstrating our Trust values whilst supporting Emma.
