James is Chief Operating Officer at Anglia Ruskin University where he leads on the delivery of the University's professional services. James is also a member of the CBI Eastern Region Council and sits on the national Executive Committee of the Association of Heads of University Administration. He began his career in the Civil Service, based in Whitehall, before moving to local government.
